Aunt Barbara, or as I always called her "Aunt B", was one of the most kind and sincere person I've ever known. Having limited family, I grew close to her and Junior. Aunt B was very family oriented and loved hosting cookouts and dinners. Even for unplanned visits she would offer you tea, coffee or water. Then she would always want to cook or make you a snack, regardless of the stay of your visit. One of my fondest memories I have, is her and Junior playing scrabble with my parents. They would playfully challenge words, points and of course keep a dictionary on hand. While Junior won about 99.9% of the time, Aunt B was never a sore sport. She would laugh and giggle at him and all the other jokes we cut up about. I miss her deeply and am very honored she was my godmother. ❤

So special, so loved, so warmly remembered.  A sister-in-law, and friend. May our God bring tender comfort to Elmer and family as we mourn and bring peace and strength in the days to come.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Elmer and family.  Barbara was a beautiful person and I am glad to have known her.

Barbara was as sweet and as precious a person as is possible. She had such a gracious, humble manner and treated everyone as if they were special. Her love of her Savior and Lord was so evident. We loved her dearly. She will be missed. To her husband and family, our sincerest sympathy. 

Barbra was a blessing in my life. I had the privilege of doing her hair for the last few years. We have shared so many wonderful stories, cried together, laughed and even prayed. She was truly remarkable. I have never met another soul like hers. I will forever cherish our talks. She always raved about her  kids, how much she loved her grandkids especially and when they would come visit. Her loving husband Elmer of course and how much she loved her mother. Barbra was a woman of enormous faith. I know she was greeted by God himself and the finest trumpets in heaven. 

Barbara was always kind and joyful even during stressful times. I will remember  her smile.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie B. Perry &amp; Anna Elizabeth Ward – Perry; 2 brothers, Buster Perry and Orville Perry.


Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Elmer Lee Draper, Jr.; children, Larry Morton, Leanne Greschel and Danny Morton; step-children, Steve Draper, Jeff Draper and Mike Draper; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
