She was born on March 2, 1942 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to parents, Bennie B. Perry & Anna Elizabeth Ward – Perry. She held an associate’s degree, was retired from customer service with Hillsdale Furniture and was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church, where she was active in Bible Study Class and Missions.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie B. Perry & Anna Elizabeth Ward – Perry; 2 brothers, Buster Perry and Orville Perry.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Elmer Lee Draper, Jr.; children, Larry Morton, Leanne Greschel and Danny Morton; step-children, Steve Draper, Jeff Draper and Mike Draper; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel at the Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January, 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery & Mausoleums.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara’s honor to the Parkland Baptist Church or the New Cut Rd. Baptist Church.
