Barbara "Bobbie" F. Ritchie

Born on February 7, 1938 Bobbie was the daughter of the late Paul F. “Pete” Ritchie & Dorothy L. Hargan. She grew up on the Ft. Knox Military Base. She retired from the United States Postal Service. Bobbie was a former majorette, liked to dance, loved to garden, feed the birds and was a former scout leader. She enjoyed doing crafts and sewing. She was a devoted mother. Bobbie lived a full life, a life well lived!

Besides her parents, Pete & Dorothy Ritchie; Bobbie is preceded in death by her twin sister, Beverly Humphreys & her older sister, Mary “Freddie” Lacy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Paul Adams, M.D. & Dorothy “Dodie” Caulk, C.P.A.; plus, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives & friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Bobbie will be entombed in the Chapel of Apostles of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour of 12:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
