

Born in Secco, Kentucky on Sunday, September 15, 1946 Bert was the son of Earl & Ethel (Courtney) Webb.
Bert lived his life making a positive impact on those around him. Bert possessed an unparalleled work ethic, dedicating hours to his profession while still finding time to be there for his wife and children. Bert had a deep bond he shared with his wife, the love and guidance he provided to his children and the joy he found in being a grandparent.
Bert served in the United States Army, owned and operated Webb’s Chevron gas station, retired from Brown Williamson / Reynolds & retired from JCPS – P.R.P.H.S.. Bert was a 50 year member and Master Mason at the Grand Lodge of Valley – Daylight (511) and was also an Honorable Kentucky Colonel.
He loved most, spending all his time with his only love & wife, Elsie Webb. Throughout his life, he cherished his family above all else. He is remembered as a hardworking and honest man. Most of all, devoted to his wife, children, family & friends.
Bert is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Ethel Webb; his wife of 58 years, Elsie Faye Webb; daughter, Dana Webb; grandson, Devin Webb; brothers, Allen Webb, Gail “Bo” Webb, Cleatis “Red”; & sisters, Geri Thompson & Janice Craft.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Craig (Susan) & Christopher (Diane) Webb; grandchildren, Brittney (Demetrius Reed), Austin Webb, Janson (Heather) Webb, Carter Webb, Trinity Webb, Alyssa Webb, Alex Goodman & Channing Goodman; great – grandchildren, Elijah, Kiley, Aireale, Kendall & Weston Lynn; sister, Earleen “Webb” Hall; many nieces and nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Bert will be laid to rest following the Funeral Service in the Garden of Eternal Love of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where he will rest alongside his wife of 58 years, Elsie Faye. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Friday, march 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour of 12:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
