Bertha M. Gerlach Lane, 102, died Dec. 13, 2020. She was born on October 25, 1918 in Louisville to Charles and Bertha Fishbach Gerlach. She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
Bertha was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Lane. They owned the Art Lane Dance Studio on Barret Avenue. She also retired from Stewart’s Dry Goods on 4th Street.
Bertha is survived by her loving family: daughter, Linda Humphress (Owen); grandson, Glenn Humphress (Tonda) and great granddaughters, Rebecca and Cassandra Humphress; great grandson, Alexander Humphress; caregiver and niece, Barbara Kinnard plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, Earl, George Elmer, Urban and Gilbert Gerlach.
She was loved and will be missed.
