She was a former member of the old St. Clements Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Carpenter, Sr., a son, Paul C. Carpenter, Jr., and a daughter, Elizabeth Carpenter.
Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany McCune (Billy Hopper); sons, Mike Carpenter (Angela Williams) and Mark Carpenter (Stacy); a brother, Richard Collins; daughter-in-law, Laura Carpenter; 7 granddaughters; and 1 great-grandson.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday.
