She was born in Louisville, on June 18, 1927 to the late Egbert and Virginia Moody. Betty was a Christian by faith, who dedicated her life to her family. Along with her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard Dunman; and sister, Shirley Ann Ritter.
Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her children, Len Dunman (Bridgette), Jeff Dunman (Susan), Ginger Gray and Betsy (Leo Walsh). Betty also has 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Betty’s caregivers, Marlene Mitchell and Veronica Duncan.
A visitation will take place from 10 am – 12 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A prayer service will take place at 12 pm Saturday, with the burial immediately following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that expressions of sympathy be directed to the Salvation Army or Hosparus of Louisville.
