Mrs. Higgins was retired from Gold Proof Elevator Company. She was generous supporter of Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Vincent dePaul and Amvets for many years.
She was preceded in death her parents Raymond and Ruth Sublette.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John Higgins.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be Tuesday, noon-2 p.m. and Wednesday noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
