missing talking to mom on a daily basis.  It got to be part of my daily ritual.  now my calls are prayers to heaven, to bless all the people who knew and loved my mom.  she will shower you with love from above as God now holds her in the palm of His hands.

It was a privilege to know Betty and be a part of her life. She was a wonderful woman. I have never met anyone whose faith was stronger than hers. Peace be with her entire family and may your memories keep you strong. We were told by her daughters that she thought the world of my family and I, but the feelings were mutual. You will be missed Betty.

Betty's Family, I just loved your mom, she was a very special lady. Know that you and your families are in my prayers.

Betty was very kind to me and my sons.  She always had such kind advice for me regarding my sons.  I didn't know she passed and was sad to hear in church her funeral was the day before.  She is in a better place with no pain now.  Gods peace be with you and your loved ones.

To Aunt Betty's Children:  I did not know you personally, but knew you through her and my granddad (Weldon).  You are all in my prayers.  May you take comfort in knowing your mom was a wonderful woman who touched many lives and she will be dearly missed.  I'm sure she and my granddad are at St. Peter's gate either playing cards or pulling the "one armed bandits".  May God keep you safe today and always.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral as I have a bad case of the stomach flu. Nevertheless, I wanted to express my condolences to your family, Mary and Tom in particular as they are very dear to me.  Rest in Peace Bouncin' Betty!

She is/was one sweet lady to have lived and loved life the way she did. To have raised such loving and caring children only adds the proper grace to her legacy. My heart goes out to all of you because no matter how old you get - she is and always will be Mom.

My Dearest Aunt Betty....You taught my little Brandon so much about our Faith.  Your never-ending love, compassion and love of life and God will forever be in his heart and mine.  I will forever treasure my trip to Kentucky with Granddad (Weldon), spending time with you, feeding the squirrels and praying the Rosary to the Blessed Mother in your backyard and at Saint Meinrad.  Heaven has gained the Angel with the biggest smile and the Biggest Heart.  We love you!  Ann Marie, Rachel & Brandon and Family. xoxo

Some people just go through life and others get the most out of every minute.  I think maybe Aunt Betty Jean was one of the latter.  She was always laughing!!
I remember spending summer days at the house in Valley Station.  I think my first french fries came from her kitchen!! Once she took Kristi and I for ice cream and I was allowed two scoops (orange sherbert and black licorice- what was I thinking!!).  I also remember being very jealous of the kitchen set Kristi had in the basement.  
When Aunt Betty Jean came to our house, you never knew what was going to happen.  I think she was the only person that broke a bone in front of me.  What ever possessed her to try to log roll a barrel across the yard. She also persuaded us that you can curl up in a 50 gallon barrel and go tumbling down a steep hill ending up unhurt but dizzy!!
She will live on in my memories but also in the memories of my children because of the stories that I have told them about my slighty crazy "Aunt Betty Jean"!

Dear Betty,  I was one of your Hosparus volunteers.  I was with you in your final days.  I learned so many wonderful stories about you and your cup of coffee and your pack of Marlboro gold and your tucked phone on your ear.  I learned of your love for God and your family.  May you find the peace that only God gives.  Thank you Betty.  Thanks to Kristi, Phyllis and Mary and Pat for allowing me in your world in those final days.  Peace and Joy!

The Family has so many fond memories of Betty Jean! She was a wonderful part of our lives. As sister in-law and Aunt, We all will miss her. With all our love and sympathy...Robert and Margie Lueken, Francis and Sharon Gogel, Wendell Lueken, Gene and Gina Lueken, and Elizabeth Demuth.

Dear Aunt Betty, we love you so much and we will miss you terribly, but we look forward to the day that we will meet again.

Betty will continue be a fond part of my memories.  She was always nice to me and welcomed me into her home with a smile, and laughter.

I will remember each of her family as being as gracious as she was.
