Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband James Gardner Nolan, son-in-law Joseph L. Jutz, parents Joseph Barkenhus and Clara Barkenhus Greene, sisters Anne Lockard and Clarmarie Hampp and seven step sisters.
Her marriage was a story book of love from the day she saw her handsome future husband. She prided herself on being a devoted and loving homemaker for 72 years for her husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Betty was a member of Saint Agnes Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving daughter Sherry Lou Jutz, grandchildren Lisa Jutz Noble (Clell) of Louisville and Eric Nolan Jutz of Louisville, brother Robert Greene of Daytona, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Restahven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 10am-2pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
