With hearts full of love and gratitude for the time we shared, we celebrate the beautiful life of our sweet boy, Brady Harrison LeDuc. Brady passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and boundless joy.
Born on December 9, 2022, in Louisville, KY, Brady was a light in every room he entered. His infectious smile, twinkling eyes, and giggles could brighten even the cloudiest of days. He loved playing with his big sisters, Isabella and Chloe, chasing after them on his little balance bike, trying to match their gymnastics and playground skills, and soaking up every moment of fun. He was a proud big brother to baby AnnaMaria, always eager to help care for her and give her hugs.
Brady had a love for balls, cars, Choo-Choo trains, and Feiji (airplanes in Chinese). His favorite toys were his balls, blocks (especially Magnetiles), and his little polar bear. He adored his MaMa, Xiaona, who cared for him every day of his life—feeding him messy foods to fatten him up, taking him on walks, and bringing him to the YMCA and playgrounds. Every weekend his MaMa had new adventures to show him and he loved her so much - following her everywhere, always eager to help. Brady also shared a special bond with his DaDa, Jeffrey—running to the door to greet him after work, wrestling with him, and giggling uncontrollably during belly tickles at diaper changes.
Brady’s early words reflected his joyful spirit and love of life—"ball," "bubble tea," and "babka" (a favorite treat). A little foodie at heart, he always asked for "Morah Can-Dee" (More candy) with a twinkle in his eye and a hopeful smile.
He leaves behind his devoted parents, Xiaona Zhang and Jeffrey LeDuc of Prospect, KY; his adoring sisters, Isabella (6), Chloe (4), and AnnaMaria (3 months); his loving grandparents, Mema and Papa Johnny—Susan and John LeDuc of Sarasota, FL—and Popo and YeYe—Zhang Lixia and Zhang Wenbin of Luoyang, China. Brady was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his joyful spirit in their hearts.
Though his time with us was far too short, Brady’s love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life was a beautiful gift, and we will carry his light forward always.
A service to celebrate Brady’s life will be held on Sunday, February 16th from 2pm-4pm at the Royal Room (Norton Commons), 6314 Meeting Street, Prospect, KY 40059.
The family appreciates the overwhelming community support during this difficult time.
