78 passed away on Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017. Born on October 25, 1938 in Berlin, Germany to Franz and Ida Repstat (maiden name Fischer). She also lived in France & Vietnam before settling down as a paralegal in the US.
She started working at KYFI & Kentucky Container Service in the early 70's, where she met her late husband of 39 years, Don Farris Sr.
Survivors include her son, Jay Newton (Stephanie); step-children Debbie, Donald Jr. (Dawn), Douglas Sr.; Sisters Irmgard Fuller (New York) and Christina Amelung (Germany); sister-in-law Bonnie Cook (Bob); grandchildren Douglas Jr., Benjamen, Zachary (Elizabeth), Amanda, Nathan and 2 great-grandchildren,
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff members of Franciscan Healthcare Center and their staff who provided her care throughout her final days.
Memorial Services will be conducted @ 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Wesport Rd. Visitation will be held from 12-3 PM prior to the service.
