Bruce S Young, JR.

Bruce Sterling Young, JR., 78 of Louisville, passed away February 14th, 2026. Bruce was married to the love of his life and his high school sweetheart, Linda for 56 years. Bruce was an Army Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War. Bruce spent his entire career in sales, with the first 20 years of his career being spent at DAP, Global Inc. Bruce retired from Custom Building Products, where he was a sales manager. Bruce’s career afforded him the ability to travel the country, spending time with customers and friends, all while enjoying many rounds of golf at some of the world’s most prestigious courses. In addition to his love for his family, Bruce also had a passion for classic automobiles, owning many throughout his life.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents: Bruce and Ann Young.

Left to cherish Bruce's memories are his wife: Linda Young; his son: Christopher "Chip" Young (Tina); Cousin Ron Young (Judy): along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22nd from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and again from 9:00AM to 10:00AM on Monday, February 23rd at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Monday February 23rd, 2026.
