Born to the late Curtis Sanilar and Virginia Spade, Carol is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Donald Kenney.
Here to carry on her memory are her children, Mark Kenney (Crystal) and Amy Koehler (David); her grandchildren, Tyler Lee (Allee) and Emily Koehler; her sisters, Pam Rehm (Denny) and Kathy Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Carol worked for Kroger for 12 years. In her free time, she loved to shop, work on her landscape, and her plants. She adored her animals and spoiling her family.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. A committal service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice team that took care of Carol.
