Carolyn "Carol" Marie Bledsoe

Carolyn "Carol" Marie Bledsoe, age 83, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She loved gardening and was very involved with Tony and Tim, especially in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Carol was a Sunday School teacher at Okolona Christian Church. She married the love of her life, Bob Bledsoe, who served in the Air Force Reserves and retired from GE.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Peggy Thompson; husband of 38 years, Bob Bledsoe; brothers-in-law, David Henion, Ray Bledsoe, Doug Bledsoe; sisters-in-law, Betty Cissell, Norma Bennett; nieces and nephews, Robbie Courtney, Terry Bledsoe, Norma Bledsoe, and Jeep Bledsoe.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tony and Tim Bledsoe; sister, Betty Henion; nieces and nephews, Vicky Gabba, Mike Bledsoe, Kristi Pugh, Joe Bennett, Debbie Davis, Kathy Sammels, Steven Gardner, Dave Gardner; great nieces, Samantha Linger, Angela Gabba; great-great niece, Arabella Linger; and many friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Carol will be Friday, February 24, 2023 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
