Carolyn Sue Keith

Carolyn Sue Keith (Warriner), 81, of Goshen, Kentucky passed away on December 16, 2025. The youngest of three girls, Carolyn was born on New Year’s Eve 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles and Carrie Warriner. She was an excellent student, graduating in 1962 from Adair County High School. It was there that she met the love of her life, William Allen Keith. They married on December 23, 1962, and enjoyed almost 63 years of married life together.

Carolyn worked early in her life at Corhart before finding her true calling, the role of Mom. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother to her two girls - always present at school events and supporting them in endeavors throughout their lives. She especially loved Christmas and always took great care to make every gathering special for her children and extended family. Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her family on vacations and later playing slot machines with her husband. She always loved animals and had many beloved pets during her lifetime. Despite her 16-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Carolyn relished her role as “Gran” for the last eleven years, always supporting and celebrating the many achievements of her twin grandchildren.

Known as a wonderful cook and gracious hostess, Carolyn always made everything beautiful for her family and friends. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by those she held dear and often expressed her care for others with personal notes which displayed her beautiful handwriting. Carolyn touched many lives in her almost 82 years and her absence is deeply felt.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, William Keith; daughter, Karen Keith of Louisville; daughter, Stacy (Joe) Hettich of Prospect; granddaughter Louella Hettich; grandson, William Hettich; and her sister, Geraldine Warriner. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Warriner and her sister, Shelby Jean Foley. A celebration of her life will take place in January - details to come.
