Moore, Cecil M. Sr., 90, entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2016. Cecil enjoyed watching Western Movies on VHS tapes and was an avid UK fan. Go Big Blue! He retired after 30 years from G.E., served with the West Buechel Sherriff Department for 5 years, and served in the Navy during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cora Moore and daughter, Anna Sullivan.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cecil Moore Jr., Terry Moore (Brenda), Cora Mutter, and Charles Mingus; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren; and caregiver and adopted grandson, Earl Starr.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be immediately following the service at Evergreen Cemetery.
