He was born in Fairmount, Jefferson Co., KY, Dec. 12, 1931, to Charles Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Patton. He retired from Ford (KTP) in Supplier Quality Control, graduated from Manual High School, and was a USAF veteran.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Sue (Patton) Barnes. He was an avid photographer, cook, knife collector, and proud Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by children, Denise Faye Hall, Leah Kaye Stevens (Raymond) of Lake Orion, MI, and Jeffrey David Patton (Linda); grandsons Michael, Evan, and Colin Hall; granddaughters Brittany Braden Middleton and Ashley Braden; great-grandchildren Jaxon Hall and Ava Middleton; and nieces Pamela Barnes Rhea, Tammy Barnes Nelson, and "Lil" Tammy Humphrey.
His family wishes to express their appreciation to the caring staff at Jefferson Manor.
Chuck chose cremation and requested no funeral service; however, a visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road.
