He was preceded in death by his soul mate, Charlotte Vaughn; parents, Charles Purcell and Florence Vaughn; sister, Donna Holland; and brother, Phillip Michael Vaughn.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Missy Scott; grandchildren, David William Vaughn and Christina Michelle Jones; siblings, Terry Lee Vaughn, Daryl Lynn Vaughn and Darlene Florence Johnson; half-brother, Charles Thomas Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
