He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching UofK basketball, and riding his motorcycle. He was known for being a tender-hearted person who took care of many and was loved by all.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Brinley-Avis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 28 years, Carlene; daughters, Amy Sharron and Josh, Ashley Kay; grandchildren, Layla, Emma, and Kingston; parents, Houston and Velva; brothers, Tony, Greg, and Phillip; mother-in-law, Emma; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
His funeral service will be Monday, December 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Okolona. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-8 p.m. Interment at Hopewell Cemetery in J-town.
