Chloe Lee McClure

Chloe was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years, reflecting her long-standing commitment to service and fellowship. She was also actively involved with Gilda’s Club and Ovarian Cancer Awareness of Kentucky, organizations that held deep personal meaning for her.

She was a graduate of Louisville Male High School class of 1964. Her hobbies were crafts, homemaking, baking, and reading. Chloe enjoyed walking near her home in Crescent Hill and attending book club. She retired from The Brown Hotel, where she contributed her talents and work ethic over the years.

Chloe is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Heather McClure (Keeley) and Holly Jett (Paul); her sisters, Phyllis Harmeyer (George) and Kathleen Bancroft (Jerry); as well as many nephews and great-nephews. Chloe was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Skeeters Veteto Lee, father Lonnie Lee, brother LTC. Hobart Veteto Jr., and sisters Veronda Miller and Barbara Rogers.

A visitation for Chloe will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Eastern Star Home in Kentucky.
