Christina Pendleton

Born on December 22, 1954, to the late Raymond and Lola Morgan.

A 1973 graduate of Madison High School, Chris's early work life included roles as a cashier, file clerk, and babysitter, and then becoming a domestic engineer.

Chris was happily married to her devoted husband, James Pendleton, for 46 years. Their unwavering partnership was blessed with a daughter, Sonya Carney(Pendleton) who wed Joseph Carney, blessing them with the joy of their two grandsons, Brendan and Jace Carney.

An avid nature lover, Chris spent countless hours with her Gouldian finches and parakeets, and she took every opportunity to go fishing. She was a lover of all animals but had a special place in her heart for her Yorkie-Poo, Ginger, and her cherished cats, Cashmere and Jasper. Chris's interest in UFOs reflected her fascination with the world's mysteries. A fierce protector of her daughter and her family. She loved to read mystery novels and watched tv mystery series, often while sipping her favorite coffee with just the right amount of creamer through a straw.

While her great faith in God guided her throughout her life, Chris is at peace now.

Chris will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation for Christina will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A memorial service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM , 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
