Christine Meredith, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was a seamstress and the former owner and operator of Christine's Childcare Center. She attended Engelhard Elementary and was a graduate of Ahrens Trade High School. She was a member of Louisville First Church of the Nazarene, and she had also been a singer, music director, and musician of many other Nazarene churches.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Meredith; and her parents, Elmer and Marie Morgan. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Meredith, Rebecca Graybill(Rick), and Deborah Grassman(Ron); grandchildren, Brian Meredith, Erin Patel(Angi), Rachel Harley(Jamie), Samantha Flynn(Shawn), Jamie Graybill(Angie), Benjamin Graybill(Nancy), Adam Grassman(Chrissy), Andrew Grassman(Deanna), Jonathan Grassman, and Nicholas Grassman(Alexis); 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Bayens(Jim); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
