Born to the late James Charles and Mary Catherine Deignan, Chris is also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Deignan, Jr.
Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 48 years, Debbie Deignan; their children Christopher "Chris" Deignan, Jr. (Hannah) and Ashley Baker (Kyle); his grandchildren, Jackson, Ayla, Hailey, and Lena; his siblings, Michael Deignan (Jeanne), Joan Deignan (Steve), Mark Deignan (Jean), and Patty Deignan; his sister-in-law, Kim Deignan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Chris graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's Degree in business. Chris retired from Weyerhauser Corporation after over 35 years of hard work. The best Papa in the world, Chris loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He was an avid UofL fan and enjoyed going on a road trip.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218. A funeral service in Chris's honor will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude in Chris's honor.
