Cletus worked in Butchertown at JBS Swift for 33 years, and was a member of the Keneseth Israel Congregation. Cletus graduated from the University of Louisville in 1974. He was a sports fan who had many favorite sports teams, but he was an avid fan of his Alma Mater, the University of Louisville, along with the Green Bay Packers, and Baltimore Orioles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Debbie; Children, Brian and Ashley (Zach); expected grandson, Hudson; sisters, Donna (Don), Sharon (Noel); brother-in-law, Donnie (Phyllis); nieces and nephews, Tim, Kristal (Tracy), Chad, Michael, and Trina; and the furbabies.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, from 2 to 6 PM at the Arch L. Heady at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. A service to celebrate Cletus’ life will take place following visitation at 6 PM in the funeral home chapel.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him, as well as the lives he has changed as an organ donor.
