He was born December 1, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Edgar W. and Edna (Shearer) Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar Richard Brown and Terry Lee Brown.
Clyde retired from the United States Air Force after over 20 years of service. He later worked at Kroger on lower Brownsboro for 15 years and was a member of AMVETS and the American Legion.
Survivors include his son, C. Edward Brown, Jr.; three brothers, Gary, Robert and Scott Brown; one sister, Jackie Davidson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 PM on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
