Corrie "Lucky" Nicholas Booth, 83, a longtime resident of Wesley Manor, passed away August 31, 2014. She was a retired teacher, having taught 1st and 2nd grade at Luhr and Rangeland Elementary Schools. She was a very active member of Okolona Womens Club for over 50 years, a volunteer for Meals On Wheels, a former member of Okolona Presbyterian Church, and a current member of Parkland Baptist Church where she was involved with the Esther Class.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Nick" Nicholas.
She is survived by her son, Walter Nicholas; daughter, Barbara Nicholas Turner; grandchildren, Jeremy Turner and Melanie Roberts(Matt); great granddaughter, Chloe Turner; brother, R. Graham White Jr.(Shirley); and nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Friday, September 5, 2014 at Arch L. Heady & Son Okolona Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday.
