Daniel Juliet Wood, 58, of Louisville passed from this life on September 4, 2010 at his home. He was a native of New Albany and employee of the Dallas Stewart Stables. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Roberts, and a brother Anthony Roberts. He is survived by his mother, Delores Wood; brothers, Lucius Roberts (Toni), Samuel Roberts (Anna), and Raylus Roberts; sisters, Tawana Roberts Owens, and Millie Wood; a grandmother, Mildred Wood, several half sisters and brothers and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held at noon Tuesday September 14, 2010 at Christ Chapel at Churchill Downs (entrance at gate 5). Visitation will be after 10:30 am Tuesday.
