Darlene Catherine Havel, age 88, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. She was born to the late Anthony and Amelia Desch on October 24, 1936. Darlene proudly worked for March of Dimes and the Veterans Administration.
Darlene is preceded in death by her husband; James K. Havel, parents; Anthony and Amelia Desch, and daughters; Amy Havel and Susan Kehl.
Left to cherish Darlene's memory are her daughter; Connie Parrish (Lex), son; Scott Havel, and sister; Jo Ann Faders (Loras).
A visitation for Darlene will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Darlene will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to March of Dimes.
