He was born April 9, 1950 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Werner. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom Werner.
David was of the Catholic faith and was a Systems Manager at Dawn Food Products, where he had worked for over 30 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Teresa Werner; four children, Brian Werner (Kate), Jeffrey Werner (Emily), Melissa Moline (Chris) and Emily Ross (Josh); seven grandchildren, Ellen and Charlie Werner, Morgan, Madison and Kensley Werner, Sophie and Grant Ross and also two expected grandchildren “Guaca” and “BooBoo”.
A service to celebrate David’s life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, March 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary expressions, donations may be given to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
