David was born on June 17, 1947, in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Donald Glenn and Nola Kay (Robinson) White. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Dakota Morlan Blubaugh.
A resident of Louisville and Oldham Co. for his entire life, David was a Financial Advisor with Private Client Services/Kentucky Financial Group (2008-2013) & AXA Advisors (2003-2007), Vice President of Operations of Kentucky Forge Inc. (1996-1997), a Vice President of the Henry Vogt Machine Co. (service 1963-1996), and Chairman and Board Member of the Pewee Valley Fire Protection District (1990-2006). He was Honorably Discharged from the 5010th USAR Hospital (1969-1975).
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary B. White; three children, Ann Michele Aponte, Vicky Lynn Dempsey (Tom) and Ben T. White, II (Shawna); five grandchildren, Noah Tyler Hoskinson, Jacob Andrew Hoskinson, Caroline Faith White, Hannah Grace White, and Garrett Christian White; his sister, Betty Kay “Muff” Sleasman (John); a niece, Katherine Sleasman; a nephew, Glenn Sleasman; and one great-niece, Sophie Lee.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM-1 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery.
