Diane Lee Stone, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Baptist Health Louisville.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 10, 1946, Diane was the daughter of the lates David Waters and Madeline Beyle.
Diane loved her family and she loved to travel, collecting magnets from destinations all over the world.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 55 years, William C. Stone, Sr.; her son, William C. (Elizabeth) Stone, Jr.; her grandson, Cody Stone and her grand – dogler, Patches; sister, Peggy Ward and nephew Charles “Charlie” Bennett.

Our hearts are heavy with sorrow at Dee's passing. Her son and my daughter married and thus began our beautiful friendship. We enjoyed all our time together and will miss you so much.

We always loved chatting with Dee. She was a beautiful lady who loved her family. So gentle and caring. Our prayers are with all the family during this sad time.

Diane, when I came to Louisville, you welcomed me as though I were your daughter. You were so loving and kind. I always enjoyed our conversations. When Jon and I married, you also welcomed him into your family. I know the time will come again when you will welcome us both with a big smile and hug! And we will be so very happy to be with you again! We love you, Beautiful Lady!
