Dianne Lewis

Born on April 16, 1938, in Louisville, KY, to the late John Harlan and Bessie Brown. Along with her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Stach, and her brother, Garland Brown.

Dianne’s legacy is cherished by her devoted husband of 66 years, Ronald Lewis, whose inseparable bond with her was the heart’s true compass. Together they crafted a life of warmth and affection, leaving an everlasting imprint on their children, Renee Frashure (Elbert), Velta Mallaley, and James Ronald Lewis (Jenette); six adored grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Along with her siblings Laverne Skinner and Larry Brown, and Karen McKenzie.

A homemaker, Dianne enjoyed planting flowers outside her home and transformed her love for crafting into beautiful wreaths. Her zest for life led her outdoors, where she found peace in walking, the fun of fishing, and the simple pleasure of laying in the sun. Trips to Barren Lake were among her treasured moments, along with every minute spent by Ronald’s side.

Dianne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Dianne will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
