Dolly F. Dever

She was the youngest daughter of the late William Walter and Jennie Carter Eason, in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. on Jan. 24, 1934.

Dolly is survived by her children: Sherry Revonne Foster Stroop (Jim) and Kimberly Foster, six grandchildren; Jeremy Stroop (Allison), Stephanie Stroop Buell (Wes), Jordan Stroop (Heather), Patrick Foster, Nicole Foster Yaklin (Justin), Samantha Milburn and eight great grandchildren; Hadley, Owen, Bella Revonne, Hudson, Bryden, Lindsey, Warner, Whittman Foster.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kelly Dean Foster, and her husbands, Arthur Revonne Foster and Robert Dever.

Dolly and Art Foster started and owned six Cinderella Shoe Repair Shops in the Louisville area from 1960-1972. She was secretary at Prospect Boat Works for several years and was a Kentucky Colonel since 1971. Dolly enjoyed her family, friends, working, shopping, reading, dancing, boating, gardening, old movies, travelling, poetry and music. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Visitation will occur on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11AM-1PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.

Funeral service will be held privately following visitation.

Dolly will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
