

She is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, Thomas Darwin Dupin; sons, Robert (Julie-deceased) of LaGrange, KY, and Michael (Anne) of Rochester, NY; brother, Gary Parks; grandchildren, Katherine and Chris T. (Amy); great grandchildren, Hayden and Milo. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Bobby Parks.
Dolores was born in 1937 in Hickman, KY, to Robert and Kathryne Parks. She was Valedictorian (along with 3 others) of Southern High School's Class of 1955 and went on to attend Murray State College on a scholarship.
Music was a passion for Dolores, who sang in high school choir, church choirs and in the Sweet Adelines. She was Past-President of Newcomers and Compass Clubs, both in Louisville and Tyler, TX. She did volunteer work at Baptist Hospital and Hospice of East Texas. Dolores and Tom owned and operated Regency Cleaners in Tyler. Dolores enjoyed golf and tennis, and loved cheering for U of L basketball and the Dallas Cowboys. Dolores and Tom enjoyed travel and visited all 50 states.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hosparus Health Louisville.
