Don was a retired assembly worker for General Electric and a proud Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his son Don Fitts, Jr; siblings Barbara Latimer, Jerry Fitts, Dave Fitts, Naomi Gable, and Bonnie Chaves; grandchildren Madison, Logan, and Zachary Fitts; and companion Teresa Argabright. He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Floyd Fitts; and siblings Sue Fleming, Butch Fitts, and Sharon Fitts.
Visitation for Don will be from 2-6 pm Sunday at Heady-Hardy Funeral home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
