Glass, Don entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2015. Don was a Korean War Combat Veteran and Black Mudd volunteer firefighter. He coached baseball little league and was an avid UK basketball fan. He loved reading the newspaper every day and spending time on the go.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 67 years, Veda; son, Donnie (Marcia); grandchildren, Donald “Rusty” Glass III (Kathy), Shannon Ollis (Kenny), and Sara Miller (Jason); 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Rodney Glass.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at noon at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the request of the family at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contribution may be made in Don’s name to the American Kidney Foundation.
