Donald Kilian Triplett

TRIPLETT, DONALD KILIAN, 83, passed away Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Saints Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Don was born April 3, 1931 in Locust Hill, KY. He was a retired businessman, a member of the Kosair Shrine, life member of Scottish Rite, Custer Masonic Lodge #624, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #6182, Teamsters Local 89, Navy veteran of the Korean War and was baptized into the Locust Hill Methodist Church. In March of 1955 he married Dolores Pile Triplett, and to them were born two sons. He was preceded in death by his parents Truman & Carrie Horsley Triplett; his brother, Robert Triplett and sisters, Lois Carman and Jeanne Mudd. Don is survived by his two sons, Scott Kilian (Theresa) and Kevin Duane Triplett; three grandchildren, Brittany, Scott Jr. and Shelby Triplett; and two great-granddaughters, Alexis & Lilly. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. CST at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 308 S. Hardin St. in Hardinsburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Horsley Family Cemetery in Locust Hill. Visitation will be after noon Friday in Hardinsburg. Visitation will also be held 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L.
