Dear Mama,
I'm sorry I haven't wrote any of my feeling down on this memorial page...but you know I talk to you every day...and it's getting close to 1 year that you have been gone and it's really hard for me to accept...Every day since June 28th...I have been reliving every day of last year...yesterday was the day you went into I.C.U. and it is killing me...Mama...I wish we NEVER left you for a second...If only we could have known somehow this would be the end.....We still haven't been through your room Mom...it's just so overwhelming to even think about...all your things are still in bags from the hospital...I'm sorry...Today was the day you went on that ventilator! OMG...even then we never were told nor did we feel you were not going to pull through...I love remembering our moments together...but I'm sorry 43 years is not long enough...It's just not...I feel selfish saying that when your other children had less...and your grand kids had even lesser time with you but I can't help it...I NEED you, Mama! Life will never be the same...none of us will never be the same! I'm just still lost...and I know apart of me always will be...that's what happens when you lose someone you love...Just like you felt when we all lost grandma and grandpa...You were so strong Mama...so brave...You never did stop amazing me with all that you were and are! You are the queen of queens...our rock.....I'm happy Ted finally had a dream about you that put him at peace...thank you, Mom! I just can't help it...I will never be at peace with what happened to you! Not ever! It was just so sad...so unbelievably wrong! Senseless! Too soon! It's not because we still live in your house either...because here...I feel more at peace because I see memories every day all day of you...and I love that! Of course, I see the sad ones too...but the beautiful ones out weight the sad ones...I just need to be as close to you as possible...I love you, Mama...You are my heart and soul...my mommy forever! I miss you so much!

Hi mom I had another dream about you last night. I was at your house and I went into your bedroom. Your room was clean and it looked like it did back when you were not sick. your bed was long ways and your dresser was against the wall with the mirror on it. The room was empty. I was looking at your bed then I turned around and looked in the mirror and you were there. You was setting on the bed looking in the mirror You was smiling at me and it looked like you were laughing. You told me you was ok and I felt at peace. I turned around and you was gone. I looked back in the mirror and you was there again. You had the same smile. It was amazing what I saw. I have been waiting for this moment for so long. You looked the same as you did before you was sick. Thank you mom and God for this dream. I have been trying real hard to let all of the bad things that you went threw go. It is getting close now to a year since you have past. Now with the dreams and the image that I saw of you in my curtain. I know you are in a better place and that you are ok. I have not been the same since you have past, and I probably never will. But I am working very hard on letting the bad stuff go, and letting you move on now. I have to so that I can move on. Please no that I am letting you go. But I will never forget you. I love and miss you so much. Please mom let all of your other love ones feel what I have felt so they to can have some peace. Hi grandma, i miss you alot! i think of u everyday... everytime i walk past ur bedroom door, i touch it and feel a tingle in my hand, i think ur there with me, i miss u... i hold my pain in when im around people but when im alone and nobodys around i cry because you mean everything to me and im having the hardest time with you passing. Im crying now actually. when you left you took apart of me with u. i need you back, losing you is the worst thing ever, i dont think ill ever get over loseing you, u were a big part of my life, even tho i only knew u for 12yrs but during those years i spent with u were the best moments ever I wish i could go back and re-live those days... Hey mom I had a dream about you last night. It was very short but sweet. I walked in a room and you were there. You was sad, and your back and legs were hurting from the scratching. I walked over to you and grabbed your neck and squeezed you tight and started to cry and tell you that I love you. your skin was red and irritated. I stood back and asked about your cream I was still crying and talking in my sleep. Kim heard me and woke me up. She thought I was having a bad dream. It was short, sad, and sweet all at the same time. But I am so glad for this dream even though it hurt to see you like that again. I got to hold you momma even though it was just for a couple seconds. I wish Kim didn't wake me up. But how could she have known I was dreaming about you. I hope that I can continue my dream about you tonight. I miss you so much, and thanks again for all that you did for all of us. You will always be remembered. I love you mom. Your son Ted.

Hey mom missing you like crazy. sitting here listening to songs that remind me of you, grandpa, and, grandma. Life is so different without you all here. I can still sometimes feel your presents around me. Kim said she can too. she was on her way to work yesterday and they played I drive your truck on the radio. A sad song. She said she could feel you in the van with her. We was up talking about you last night. I am still having a very hard time with all of this. I guess I always will. It is coming up on a year since you past. I think about you all the time. I wish this was just all a bad dream and I could wake up next to you and you beautiful face. God I miss you so much. I need you in my life it is so hard without you here. I would give anything if I could turn back time. I am so proud to have had a mom like you. You taught me everything that I know how to be a man. Hey mom I am having a hard day again. I miss you so much. I have so many regrets, but there is one that I need to get off my chest. I am so sorry for leaving you at the hospital that night I brought you some food. The look that you had on your face when I was leaving broke my heart. But I left anyways. I just didn't know how to deal with it. It was very hard to see you like that. But when you needed me most I was not there. I am so sorry mom. People tell me that mom understands because I have a lot of stuff to do with work, twins, just everyday things that I always have to do. But no one was there and did not see that look in her eyes. This is so hard for me to get past. Please forgive me mom. I no you will. And I no you were very proud of me. Please know that if I had it to do again I would have never left your side. happy mothers day mom. I want to let you now how proud of you that I am. thank you for everything. you are a true definition of what a mom should be. I know that the person I am today is because of you. You could make me happy when I was sad. Just talking to you and to hear your voice picked me up when I was down. Well, the stars FINALLY aligned (i.e., laptop fixed, alone time, no homework or studying)and I FINALLY made it! It only took 9 months. I can imagine you shaking your head with a beer in one hand, cig in the other, and a smirk on your face. I can hear you saying, "That's Tracy for ya. Better late than never...just like her momma." You were not a bit shy about saying what was on your mind. One of your many endearing qualities.
 Your presence still lingers in your house. And everytime I look around I can see a flashback of some memory. I feel for everyone still living there because I'm sure that has to be both a blessing and a curse. Memories bring smiles to our faces when we remember times with you but, then we are sad when we realize you're not coming back. I wish now that I would've spent more time with you out in your garden or at Bingo (after the smoking ban;)
   I was so glad to be able to help fix your room up when you were released from the hospital that first time. I didn't realize those were our last few memories we were making. 
   I'm sorry I never got the chance to say "thank you" for all the times you made me feel loved and welcomed. I never felt out of place in your home. You were always gracious and hospitable to me. I remember when just you and I would go out for breakfast before you took me to school and sometimes you would be playing with my hair while I watched Captain Kangaroo and ate Bugles. Everytime I've eaten them throughout the years, I always think of you. Weird, huh? I guess it's a lot of the little things that I like to remember. I wish I could've learned how to garden and can from you because you were masterful at it. I used to eat myself sick on pickles and tomatoes over there. 
    Also, before I forget...I need to apologize, too. Remember when you thought you were going crazy when you "just put it down" someplace and then couldn't find your beer? Uh...you weren't going crazy. I was thirsty ;D  
    I'm glad I had the chance to share moments of my life with you, and that you loved me unconditionally in each one of them. Im sorry that you suffered for so long but, I'm happy to know that you will nevermore experience pain,sickness, or death. I know someday we will meet again. I hope you'll forgive me if I don't hurry. I have a few more things I still have to do first..and you know how slowly I move ;P I love you Aunt Diane. Keep some beer on ice, until then, and start casing the joint for the best fishing spots.

Hi mom we had our first derby party without you here. It was not the same. You were the first thing that I thought of. I wished that you were here. you always bet the horses. Last year you could not make it but you had me place your bets for you over the phone. You called me last derby and I will never forget that call. You was so scared because you tried to get up to go to the restroom and fell and you could not get up. when you called I knew something was terribly wrong. I could here it in your voice. Then you just hung up because you were scared and in pain. This is the first thing that I thought about yesterday. last year at this time was when everything went down hill. I still have a very hard time dealing with your passing. I sometimes get very depressed. Please help me threw this mom. I need your help. This morning I am writing you because this is the only way that I can seem to find any peace. I just don't know what to do anymore about the pain from losing you. You were my everything. Reading Chris's entry from the 17th was so hard for me...he is so lost, mama. I know if you can...you will help him find himself again...there will always be a piece of him that went with you...just as a piece of all of us who loves you has. We all know you wouldn't want any of us to be this lost...but it's hard mama...so hard to find yourself...hold onto yourself...be yourself after the trama we all faced with you the day we lost you...I remember you telling me in the hospital...how worried you were for Chris and Trav...how we both were...I still am Mama...it's what I worry the most about...They are doing better...getting stronger...FOR YOU! But I pray every day for them...for all of us. We are fighting to survive without you here...it's not easy...but I feel you are here with us...helping...and completely doing it for us when we are at our weakest points. I love you so much, MOM! Hi Mama this is your son Roger I know I haven't wrote but I can't believe I don't have you here.I really need you here with me.I need to hear you yell for me to come to help you with something or put something together for you or even for me to help you in the garden or better yet just to curse at me. I've never been much of anything until you came into my life. I can't believe yet another month has passed without you here...it truely doesn't get easier...just more real...I miss you so very much...Chris had his 1st birthday without you here...and it was felt. You always brighten our days...We have so things around your garden in memory of you...Cassidy got you a butterfly in a mason jar that looks life a real butterfly is inside when you tap the lid and we got you blue butterfly that lights up at night...I know you would have loved them...it's your favorite color. I miss you, mama...I miss you more than ever...My life I feel is falling apart...and I need your words of wisdom to help me get through...I often think about what you would say to me...but it's not the same. I just wish I could hear your voice again...You loved life so much because of your family and we all feel that same love for family and it's just not the same without you here...I pray you are with Allison...she turned 16 yesterday...We sent up 16 balloons up to her. We wrote messages to her on some of them and the others were balloons that were heart shaped, with a princess one, a you are special one, and a happy birthday one. Hey Momma, I have been thinking a lot about you here lately. I have been having good memories about a lot of the times that we shared together. I miss all of the rides to grandpa and grandma's house. I remember we would always stop at that store before we got to there house, and we would get bait for fishing. You would always let me get an icecream and some candy. Fishing with you mom would always be so much fun. You always had more patience fishing than anyone I know. You would throw your line in the water and set and wait. Sometimes I would tell you to move to a different spot, and you would say no I'm good right were I'm at. We would always walk around to find walnuts, and we would fill up some bags to take home. I love that we have memories like that. You showed me that money doesn't grow on trees, and if you want something you have to go get it. I also have been thinking about when we worked up at the bingo hall together. You always worked so hard. We would turn the music on, country of course, and we would work the night away. I miss all of the out door stuff that we always did together. I do regret not helping you in the garden. I just never had the desire to work in the garden. I hope that I keep thinking good thoughts about you, and I hope some day soon I would have a dream about you. I love you and miss you so much momma. I will see you in another time and another place. I can't believe today it's been 7 mos. I know I wrote 6 on Valentine's Day...that's the kind of state of mind I am talking about...I can't even keep things straight hardly anymore...I don't know why...It is so hard when the 16th of any month draws near...so dreaded...I miss and love you so much, Mama...so much. I want to tell you Happy Valentine's Day because I've always made sure I told you and got you something. I remember last Valentine's Day...we got you candy and you ate some, like you always do...then you gave the rest to the kids. You always thought of the kids...of everyone, Mom. Keeley wants to say Happy Valentine's Day and that she loves you very much and she misses you...as we all do. Life is still what it has been since you were taken away from us...empty...not the same...there are really no words to truely describe life now...sad...lost...We love you so much and miss you with all our hearts, Mama. Well it's 2013...a new year...but not happy. It makes me sad that 2012 was the last year you were on this Earth with us...and now that is gone too. It's still so hard to believe, Mama...it just doesn't seem real! I remember how we would always call you and wish you a Happy New Year or go up to Walmart and surprise you...you would just be working on those boxes and pallets of yours...lol...you put your things up faster than anyone there. You worked so hard. Tonight your deep freezer went out...it makes me sad. Roger and I, mostly Roger, repainted your hall closet and hallway...Stoney Creek...I know you would have loved the color. I pray you can see it and you like it. It's all we can do is try to fix things up in your memory. We miss you so much, Mama...so much. You are loved so much, too. I'm really depressed that your birthday is coming up and you didn't get to turn 63, Mama...Poor, Mama. You are so special and deserved so much more than what life gave you. I always believed there would be time for you to receive all the Good you deserved...then...just like that...it was all gone. I'm so sorry, Mama. No one, especially you, ever saw it coming. This was the 1st Christmas without you and it was so difficult to get through. I told you Merry Christmas although it's not Merry...just Christmas. It is not the same...every empty without you here to share memories. Ted, Kim, L. Ted, Sean, Ethan, Ryan, Trav, Bent, Cass, Tony, Kee, and Bubs came over to your house for Christmas...Roger remade you Memory DVD...We all watched it together...it was so beautiful...but so very sad. But we were there for each other...we hugged each other and cried in each other's arms...it was sad but it was the only way to really have you here with us as closely as possible with pictures.  Chuck called two times today...he really misses you too this year...sad that the last Christmas he spent with you was in 2007. I know you are here with us...I just wish you were physically..... This morning the 1st thing I missed about you was the way you would come into the living room in your robe and say, "Donna, you got any coffee made yet?" Then we would have our coffee and start our Christmas. I so miss that Mama...God knows how much...I pray you do, too. You loved Christmas to much...just watching the kids. You would always smile that beautiful smile of yours so much on Christmas. It's just so unbelieveable this has really happened...I miss you so much...I pray in Heaven you all have Christmas and it was wonderful for you, my dad, Ali, Grandma, and Grandpa together. I pray you are happy. I know you wanted to be here with us...but I pray you are happy somehow. It has been 5 months now and almost Christmas. Brandon turned 20 yesterday and you were missed so much. I just cannot believe...I don't know if I ever will. Things in our lives are so lost...so empty. We miss you and just wish things could go back to our normal...when you were here with us. Days are sad...nights even sadder. This time of year is so hard because you used to get so into Christmas...I bet there are still presents in your room you forgot all about from past Christmas'. I remember every year we would find them...and you'd say, "Welp, oh well, put it back for next year." LOL You would just buy and buy for the kids and everyone. I'm really going to miss that...miss you! The grief is so unbearable a lot of the time...my mind just feels so fuzzy...so scattered. Time only makes it more real...it doesn't lessen the pain...the heartbreak...or even the shock of losing you. I love you, Mom. And that love grows even though you are not here. I miss watching All My Children with you...we have been watching that together since I can remember. The Young and the Restless...Elvis movies. I went to bingo the other night and used the dauber Roger and I got you for your birthday...as I held it in my hand...something you once held...I got sad thinking when we bought it who would have thought you would not get to use even half of it. It's just so unreal the things you think about...little things you forget until someone you love is no longer here. And how much you miss every thing you shared. I've been missing you so much...Christmas is coming up and I'm already having a hard time. We went shopping...and there were so many things I wanted to buy for you...but I can't! We saw an Elvis ornament...we bought and hung it on the tree for you...right beside your photo ornament. You would have loved it. It plays Blue Swade Shoes. I'm trying to find the perfect angel to top the tree with...in your memory. Trav moved out yesterday...and I already miss him. And, of course, I'm worried already. I pray you are watching over him. I know you are if you can. Chuck is doing ok. He just wants to come home! Ted and his family are doing ok, too. The twins are getting so big. I feel so sorry for them and you...because they and you don't have many memories together. I promise to sing them the song you always sang to all of us kids...That's what I learned in da school. It took me a little time to find the right version...but I think I found it. I remember you always singing it...I wish I would have had you teach me it completely...You would smile so big and do all the movements and sing..."My hand on my eye, what is this dear? This is my eye blinker Mama, my dear...I can see you so vividly right now singing it...This pain is so unbearable, Mama! I need you...I want you...and there is nothing either one of us can do about making that happen...I just dont' know what to do sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I'm going in sane.I just honestly STILL cannot believe this is reality. I miss you so, Mama. I'm trying to function each day...and I'm doing ok. I get things I need to get done...done. I just do it automatically...my mind is on you all the time. I never stop thinking about you, Mama. Dear Mama,
Thanksgiving was hard...very hard...but somehow, because of you, I believe, we all made it through the first Thanksgiving without you physically here. You are always here in our hearts. We had Thanksgiving at Ted's this year...they did an amazing job. It wasn't the same, of course...but we were all prepared that it wouldn't be. Cass texted me about you...me and Ted talked about you...we all...everyone of us...although some don't speak about it...missed YOU so much. We all watched an old video of a CD we found in the hall closet in your things...It's called The Lutz Family Younger Years...You were sooooo beautiful...Everyone was in it...all your sibblings...Grandma and Pa...everyone...It brought back a lot of warm memories...Then Denise called...she misses you so mama...she does...she is the ONLY one who has checked on me...she asks about all your children...she worries just like you did. I think you two are the most alike. The best people ever! I hope I've turned out the way you hoped I would, Mama. I'm so sorry for any and ever disappointment I've been to you...I just wish we had more time to make everything better. I'm missing you so much, Mama. When I was cooking the night before Thanksgiving...I just looked around at what I had made and started crying...I thanked you, Mama...it's because of you I could prepare the Thanksgiving I did...you taught me everything. Your stuffing I made was almost like yours...I think...no I know YOU would have been proud of me...It wasn't yours...but it was close. You did teach me well. Happy thanksgiving mama.this morning you are the first thing that I thought of.This is a hard day for me mama.I miss you so much.I asked god if there was anyway that he could let you visit us today,even if for just a minute.Mama please help us to get threw this day,give us some comfort to get threw.you always had the right things to say,and you always did everything by the book.You have tought me so many things in my life,from tieing my shoes,cuttin wood,picking black berries,fishing,and most of all the way you lived your life.I have some pictures from your house that bring back memories,like this outfit you made me wear.It is brown pants that were bell bottoms and a brown shirt that was so tight it could cut off circulation.this was your favorite outfit for me.I hated it back then so much that I gave you a hard time everytime you had me put it on.sorry for that.these are the memories that I want to remember.I love you mama.Ted

4 month closer to seeing you again...today has been 4 months since you have passed and it is so hard for me to believe still. I'm missing you so much, Mama. We cleaned out the  hall closet and found a few new pictures we haven't seen in awhile. It was hard, Mama...I can't imagine how hard your room will be to go through. You canned goods are still in there...I can't bring myself to part with them because that's what you did with your own two hands...I remember...as far back as I can...you canning every year. I remember eatting your dill pickles til I got sick...we all did. You canned so many pickles for us because you knew how much we loved them. Your garden this year seemed to know you were not here taking care of it because not too long after you passed...your garden did too. We tried...but we just don't have the touch you had. I will try harder next year...It was just so hard this year. We did try though...When we were all out there in your garden taking care of it after you passed away...Roger took a picture of an amazing rainbow that went across your entire garden...it was beautiful to see. We have a memorial stone out beside your garden it says...Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one our chain will linked again...It is so true, Mama. It's so painful everyday without you here. Nothing is right...Nothing is the same...You are my heart...my soul...every breath I take you are part of it...I miss you more and more every day...and every day I am one day closer to seeing your beautiful face again...but it could never be soon enough for me.

Hi mom.I just want to tell you that I miss you.Ted has been doing good in school.he is playing basketball now and he is playing with alot of heart.He told me that he is dedicating this basketball season to you.you would be so proud of him.Sean is on the honor roll at school,but he doesn't like his class.He wants to be switched.He wants to play football but we won't let him.Ryan and Ethan are gitting so big.I love it when I get home from work and walk threw the door and see there beautiful faces.They lay in there bed all of the time starring up at the celing.I beleive that they are talking to you.I know that you are there.I have seen signs and an image of you.Knowing that I will see you again makes me want to be a better person.We are going to church and taking good care of are family.Me and Kim are doing fine.I could not do it without her.I am so thankful that she did what she did for you.I remember you telling me that your legs and feet were hurting you,and you said kim would go pull you a bench over grab your legs and prop them up.You also told me that everytime she would pick you up she always brought you a coke,and after treatments she would ask if you wanted something to eat.Sure it was just little things but that made mom happy.I am so sorry that you are not here anymore.We love and miss you very much.Love always your son.

I'm missing you so much...Brandon has eye surgery today and I'm worried and don't have you here to ease my mind...like you always did. Life is so hard without you...Things around here are still not right...we don't really talk too much since this happened. It's like no one wants to upset anyone...make them even more sad...we don't know how to react...what to do...how to make it tolerable. I just don't know how to approach anyone about your passing. I don't really think being silent helps either. I'm just lost...I did see Sandy last night at your Wal-mart...She misses you so much, Mama. She said she don't even want to be there anymore...She has cut her hours down even more since you talked to her...You were and are her sister she said, and "I LOVE HER!". I know it's not a happy one but I just wanted to tell you anyway just because we always did. It's really hard on this holiday...I can't imagine the next two. I can't even bare that thought right now...I miss you...I'm so in shock still...I just cannot believe you are gone. I can't. I wish we could go back in time...change one thing in life...you know? Of course you do...you lost your mom too. Moms...there are no words to describe just what they mean to you. They know you better than anyone, and they have known you longer than anyone. Just to think that I was once inside of your belly...the closest you will or can ever be to anyone in life...it's your mama. You told me when I was having Cassidy to have her natural. It felt like you were dying but that she would be worth every ounce of pain when I held her in my arms. And you were right, she was worth it. To sit here and imagine how much pain you went through with me is sad to think about but how much love you had for me is breathtaking...I could always trust you...count on you...not everyone can say that about their mom. But I can and I say it loud and so very proud. I love you, Mama! You were actually my 1st love in life...I just really never thought about that before...but if you think about it...it's the truth. Oh, Mom...life is so off now...so empty.

I really miss you...I'm sad about you not being here for Halloween physically this year. I know you will be in spirit but it's just not the same. I will make sure that candy is given out to every child that comes to your door...just like you would have. I really don't know what to expect this Halloween...but I do know we will all be missing you and reminiscing about our special times with you. I imagine it will be a bitter-sweet Halloween...hard to bare but nice we will all be together thinking of you...I'm so glad I got the chance have you hear that song...my song to..."Mama". It truely is how I feel about you. There is another song since you passing that I love to listen too...It's called, "I Miss You", by N2U. It reminds me of you...and the way I feel about losing you. I still can't believe it...I'm not sure how I even get by most of the time. It just seems like I'm in a nightmare that continues from one day to the next and the next and the next...I want to just wake up and all this sadness be gone and walk in your room and you be in there watching your favorite shows or cleaning your room...or you says, "Hey, Donna, you wanna go to bingo?" I miss you, Mom! Nothing is the same...not even bingo. I have been a few times with Travis or Cass or Roger...because I see you all around there...I feel you there...I miss you being beside me playing. I remember our last time there together, just like it was yesterday. You needed 25 for a single bingo but you didn't tell me until you said, "I got it." I said, "Mom, now we are on the double." You said, "Yea, I know and I said, I got it!" I looked at your cards in disbelief because the single had not yet been closed...and sure enough you had a double. You said, "I needed the 25 for a single forever, but we got the double anyway." We high fived each other...I sure miss all of our bingo nights. You loved to play a little pull tabs too and you were lucky with them. You would always give us something when you won although we insisted it wasn't neccessary because most of the time we didn't buy any. But you always said, "When I win, yal win" and made us take the money. You were so giving. I remember on day years ago when the skating rink was a bingo. You had one dollar and bought a pull tab from Debbie, Chuck's skate buddy, and you won...you handed out 20's like it was candy to every pull tab worker and your loved ones...you were so excited...we had to stop you...you said, "Well I only spent a $1 so I'm still up." We all laughted! I never realized just how much I took for granted with you I always thought you would be here. We did spend a lot of time together but It could have been, should have been, and would have been more if only I knew then what I know now. Mom, you are a precious angel...I love you so much, Mom. You are my heart for always.

If you know my mom,you know that the list of reasons why she is so amazing,wonderful,and easy to love is endless.These are just some of the reasons why she meant so much to me.Mom would call me quite frequently because she always wanted to make sure that I was ok.Just to hear her voice sound happy when she called would brighten up my day.After I would hang up with her,I would always hope that I brightend her day as much as she did mine.I remember one time,when I was five years old,mom and I were fishing at the lake with dad and grandpa.Little blue gills were messing with mom and dad's lines.The blue gills would bite,but would get off as they were reeled in.Everytime the fish got away mom and dad would say,that little bastard.I got so excited once I finally caught a fish that I reeled that sucker in,held it up,and yelled,look mom and dad ,I caught a bastard.Mom,dad,and grandpa started busting out laughing.Well...I thought it was called a bastard because my mom and dad kept calling them that.That was one of my mom's favorite memories of me when I was little.It always made her laugh.My mom was funny,beautiful,smart,kind,fun to talk to,and could dance like you wouldn't believe.She loved to dance.there were many more things about my mom that made her special.You know...that really made her stand out.but there are two things that stood out more than the rest.One was how deep she loved.The second was how she always gave to others,even if she didn't have it to give.She would always listen,and she never ever judged me.That made it so easy for me to talk to her about anything.She was my rock,the glue that held us all together.All of these things made her who she was,and is what is making the obsticals that I have to overcome so unbearable.But for you mom,we will keep fighting.So don't you worry.You go and have your peace.God only knows that you definitely deserve it after all you have been through.You will always be in my heart.I am extremely honored to have been your son.I will miss you so much.I love you momma.Your son Ted.

I've started a poem for you...I get so emotionaly every time I work on it because there are so many things going through my head. I pray we can get justice for you and give you some kind of peace...I know nothing will bring you back to us...but maybe your death can save someone else...I wish someone would have tried to do something sooner...I know you would still be here if they had. I'm feeling really sad today. I was at your Walmart tonight with Roger and getting out of the car. And as I glanced at my phone to look at my picture of you saved as my background and I saw "16". It's cannot believe it has been 3 months since I have seen your beautiful face, Mama. I am still in shock a lot of the time. I guess I just pretend you are at rehab working on walking better. I just can't believe you are gone...I want to tell you so many things. Ask you opinion...just talk, you know? Like when you where here...you would always talk to me and assure me things would be ok. I just don't know what to do now. I really don't know how we are going to make it through Halloween this year. You always walked around with us...and you always made sure you gave every kid that came to your door candy. Even if it meant taking it from your stash...you always said that the kids had to have candy if they came to your door. I remember last year...it was cold and you had to go to the bathroom a couple of times so we walked back. Roger took us back once and the other time we walked back to meet everyone else. You just enjoyed watching your grandkids and greatgrandkids enjoy themselves. We laughed and even got scared a couple of times at those two houses around the block. Your laugh...I miss your laugh, Mama...The way you would walk so fast...I could hardly catch up...no one could keep up with you. Roger called you speedy all the time and you'd say, "Oh, shut-up, Roger!" And then you would laugh and ask me, Where did you get him at?" Oh, Mom...this is all wrong...so wrong. This was not how it was supposed to end. I feel it every second of everyday that this was wrong. I'm trying to cope...but nothing helps...There are breaks...which I know you are responsible for. But then reality comes back and I'm back where I was in I.C.U. reliving it over and over. I cry for you, Mom. I hurt for you...My heart breaks for you...for your future...what could have been...what should have been...what would have been!!!!! I pray you didn't suffer...I could see that you were at times...I felt so helpless for you. I'm sorry, Mom...sorry I ever took you to the hospital. I would have traded places with you if I could have...My sweet, Mama. You were so good to everyone... They say Jesus suffered and to be with Him and God we must also suffer...but you suffered sooooo much...for so many days...I don't understand...I don't...I don't...I don't. God! Why? I weep for you and for us...for the time we were cheated out of with you...You were and are the best Mom in the world! I will miss you and think of you everyday, Mom. I love you with all I am!

I saw an image of you today that took my breath away...I miss you so much I can barely function at times. I don't know what life is all about anymore...It's like I lost the drive when I lost you. It almost seems like life is going on and I'm still in the past. I barely notice sometimes what happens day to day or even what day it is. I will NEVER forget how much you have taught me...how much you loved me. You loved me through all my faults...and there are many...you loved me through all my fits, my mistakes, my tears, and your love built me up and made me who I am today. I just miss you, Mom. Roger and I drove past Putman today...the memories of us came rushing in at once. I remember so many times we would walk up to Milby's Market. How I wished we could have those days back...if only for a day. I would give anything to see you again...I need my mommy right now...to hold me...Tell me everything will be ok...smile at me and just talk to me...I remember when my daddy died. How you held me...cried with me...you held me all night as I cried myself to sleep...you NEVER once left my side. You cried right with me every day that I cried...YOU were there...and Now your not here to help me through the most unbearable loss of my life. I try to be strong...but I'm not...NOT LIKE YOU WERE! I'm so angry a lot too...I just can't believe what they did to you! I'm trying to get justice and peace for you, Mama. I will never stop trying. It's just so hard to live over and over again. We were all talking about you in the kitchen tonight. How you were so funny...Cassidy made us all laugh when she told us about the time you walked into the closet at the lake inside of the door. We had a warm laugh together when she told us how she could hear you feeling your way all around the closet trying to get out...lol Then Chris talked about the time you tried to get out of Cassidy's bed and you were on the side the wall was and was freaking out because you didn't understand where you were. You were smacking at the wall saying..."Hello, I'm stuck!" Then you made Cassidy switch you places. Who's going to make us laugh now, Mom? You are an original...a one of a kind, no one can dispute that that's for sure. Mama, I love you so much...we all do. You taught us all more than any one person ever could. Mom, Tonight was really hard for me. Chris broke down again...he rarely does because he keeps it all inside. I told him he shouldn't do that and that he doesn't have to go through this alone. He...well, you know what he said. I worry about him and Trav because they keep so much inside. I'm trying Mamma! It's just so hard! It consumes me...us all! I will do my best but I need help with them. I know if you can, you will. I pray and I wait. Life is unfair, I know but I have to believe it will get stronger for us...never better but stronger. Dear Mom,
I keep thinking about how you would always say,"I know I'm still young, and I am gonna get out there and find a man!" You were right about one thing, you were still young,too young to go. But to have your chance at happiness again to be taken away from you is so unbearalbe for me to accept. I still can't believe you are gone. It's like a horrible nightmare that never ends...
Things are NOT and never will be the same again...not even close. It's like I try to block out what happened...but I can't. I don't try to do it to hurt you, but something tells me I am because you did NOT want to die...I know what I have to do to bring some type of peace for you and all who loves and misses you. I think the reason why I've been trying to avoid it is because it's so painful to think about let alone talk about it. I'm so sorry, I wish I could change everything that happened to you. Grandma it's been a month since you past. Im wishing you were still her with us. It's like just yesterday when we found out the worst news in our life. I was hopeing i would never hear those 2 worst words "she's gone". I didnt belive it i didnt want to. I didnt want u to be gone. I was just hopeing it was a bad dream and wasnt real but it wasnt :'( . I cry so much nowing your gone. I no you still here i hear u wondering the halls and i see ur room door always open. I miss you , when i would always hide stuff from u especially ur scarfs. I still remember that day at the hospital when me, lexi lil ted where watching over u and u said to lexi " get that trash of my bed right there" lexi said "what trash" u said " that trash right there "then lexi looked at us confused and then we looked back over at grandma and she was smiling and said "im just kidding" and we ALL started laughing... and that was the last time i ever got to see u laugh... your smile....ur pretty eyes.. ur jokes.You dont no how honored to be UR grandaughter. I no We'll see each other agian for Eternity this time and never leave each others sides agian and never be parted even for a second.I miss you soo much, but y wouldnt i ur my grandma and im VERY honored to be UR grandaughter, and be just like you.

Mom, I can't believe it's been 1 month today. As I sit here in disbelief, I feel just as lost as I did 1 month ago. I'm missing you so much...you eyes, your voice, your smile. I miss checking on you and watching you sleep. I miss my mom...my bestfriend...my heart! I miss YOU MOM, everything about you. Your attitude I think I miss the most. I would give anything to hear your sarcasm...The last one I heard was our conversation in ICU on July 11th. You said, "I'm gonna need my curlers." I said, "Curlers, Mom? You looked at me like I was not smart like you always did when I said something stupid and you said, "Yeah, Donna, you know the things you curl your hair with!" We shared one of our last laughs together that day. Even though you were not completely yourself, through NO FAULT of your own, you still remembered you sarcasm... and I MISS that so much, Mom! I'm so sorry for what happened to you...I thank you and love you so much for trying your best to fight for yourself and us, Mom! 
You have instilled so much in me and all of us that we will all carry with us throughout our entire lives...which won't be as good as it would have been if you were still here with us. Not ever! You will be missed and loved each and everyday that passes!

~ today is a hard one grandma, im sitting at your house i can still smell your sweet sent woundering in ur hallway.Im so afraid to walk in your room because im scared it might sink in that my grandma is not in there!!!! i hate this im having so many emotions right now. i feel im in a dream y , y did u have to go soooo soon? am i selfish for loving someone so much that i cnt just let them go? i'll never let u go EVER nd i dnt have to you are my grandma , my grandma! pls help me stop being so angry .... i want to thank you for visiting me n my dreams! me and mom were at a park on a bench sitting across frm eachother under a white roof nd you appeird with ur legs crossed sitting next to mom, i went to reach for you nd crying you brought me to my knees nd placed you warm hand on my checks n pulled me close to urs nd said " IM OK, IM OK " and you fade like smoke or a cloud i woke up releved but even madder at the world well im not OK gma i miss you sooooooo much :( i love you .........i'll meet you in my dreams again ok ! promise me ............FOREVER!

I miss you very much.I know you are in a better place now because I know that you are in heaven. But the pain that I feel every day makes it hard to even get through the day.

Mom,I miss you so much! I'm so lost without you here...I don't know what to do day to day. I just walk around your house feeling numb all day. I talk to you aloud all day. You have always been there for me through everything in my life...you were always there and now well now you can't be. I'm so sorry for what happened to you. I wish I could have taken your place. If anyone deserved a good life, it is you! I only pray I will see you again. That's all that is keeping me going right now. I know none of this makes a lot of sense, I'm just so confused as to what has happened...so lost.

We will miss Diane on earth but will rejoice again when we all dance in heaven like we did when we were kids. Such wonderful childhood memories filled with lots of family!!

Diane, I really did not know you, I knew of you.  I did go to Western and graduated in 1970.  I did know some of your brothers and sisters Kathy and Denise.  I did pray for you and your family and had friends pray for you.  Now, you are with our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST and your family members that went to heaven before you.  You will have no more PAIN or SUFFERING.  

TO THE LUTZ FAMILY:   I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

To Diane's family and friends, my heartfelt condolences.  We'll all remember Diane's strenth, her determination, and her smile.  She gave a good fight, and that memory of her gives all her knew her great inspiration.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you the strength to get through this. Your sister is in a place we all dream to be...heaven.
