She is preceded in death by her husband; William A. Gowers Sr. and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Fran Kilgore (Roy), Nancy Turner (Leonard) and Bill Gowers. Grandchildren, Steven Kilgore and David Kilgore (Tracy).
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8 pm.
