

She was born October 25, 1932, in Nelson County, Kentucky to Cliston and Linnie Belle Bray. Dorothy was a Lunchroom Manager for 23 years at Gilmore Lane Elementary School until she retired. She was a member of Farmdale Baptist Church for 52 years and served in their Mother’s Day Out program. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for 50 years, where she and her husband worked for the Crusade for Children. She enjoyed baking, cooking, square dancing, gardening, working with children, and spending time in Nelson County with family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel Glen Milburn, with whom she celebrated 60 wonderful years and passed on what would have been their 72nd wedding anniversary; her parents; her daughter, Glenda Leona Milburn Clark; her sister, Mary Elizabeth; her brothers, Bob, Kenneth, Richard, and Earl Bray, Jr.; her sisters in law, Joann, Joyce, Janet, and Marylee Bray; and her best friends, Cleveland and Betty Combs, with whom she shared many wonderful adventures.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Milburn Moore (Steve); three grandchildren, Matthew (Crystal), Sam Clark (Mandy), and Jessica Sizemore Brown (Ben); nine great-grandchildren, Khera Clark, Matthew Clark, Miles Brown, Bryce Brown, Raegan Brown, Ava Clark, Liam Clark, Able Clark, and Myla Clark; her sisters, Iona Lee and Edna Irene Smith (Larry); her two brothers, David Bray and Jerry Bray (Janice); her brother in law, Fred Bradshaw; and many nieces and nephews which she always enjoyed seeing and spending time with.
A visitation for Dorothy Milburn will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, January 5th, 2026, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00PM. Dorothy will be entombed alongside her husband at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy’s name to the Crusade for Children.
