Douglas Harry “D.G.” Ganote, 75, passed away on Friday July 15, 2022. He was born on February 12, 1947 in Louisville to the late John and Orena (Pitt) Ganote. He was the owner of Ganote Enterprises and was a 1965 graduate of du Pont Manual High School. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ganote. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Wendy Moore; a son, Tras Ganote; a brother, Micky Ganote; a sister, Monta Rae Cook; and 4 grandchildren, Madye, Tanner, Merrick and Mason. Cremation of the remains was chosen. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday in the Southern chapel of Arch L.
