He was an electrician with Ford and GE, a member of the UAW and formerly with US Army Reserves. Ed was an avid fisherman participating in numerous fishing tournaments. He enjoyed watching golf, fishing and all sports but was a huge UK fan. Most of all, he loved his family.
Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathy Moore; three sons, Brian Moore (Christina), Tim Moore (Melissa Duvall) and Thomas Moore (Jordan); seven grandchildren, Tyler, Thomas Jr., Elle, Ava, Tristen, Kayleb and Gretchen; a sister, Nancy English (Danny O’Daniel); and two brothers, Chuck and Jerry Moore.
His funeral will be on Friday at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Thursday from 12pm until 8pm.
