Vaughn, Edith Juanita, 86, entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2015. Edith was a loving and independent woman who enjoyed tending to her flower garden every spring. She was a lifetime member of Eastland Church of Christ and a sewing machine operator for Louisville Glove Factory for 30 years. Edith was also an avid UofL fan and enjoyed watching the college play various types of sports.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Vaughn.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Albert Wayne (Krista), Glenda Blankenship (Woody), and Eddie Vaughn; grandchildren, Christie and David (Brittani); and 2 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will private at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Edith's name to the Eastland Church of Christ.
