Kit was an Army veteran. He was the founder of "Kits Keystone Kops" for many benefits. Kit gave and collected for Crusade for Children for many years and helped put on shows for the benefit. He was a manager for the old Bernies Restaurant. He also was a flea market vendor for several years.
Kit is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Rita Johnson Carson; daughters, Jenny Harvey and Laura Carson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be noon on Monday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Sunday and from 9am-12pm on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crusade for Children.
