He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Ann DeFrees and his loving wife of 7 years Bonnie DeFrees.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Thomas E. DeFrees Sr. and Elizabeth A. DeFrees; grandchildren, Rhonda, Laura, Thomas Jr., and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimers Association or Hosparus of Louisville.
