She was a member of Shively Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carl P. Bright, Sr. and her son Gerald T. Bright.
Survivors include 3 sons, Carl Bright, Jr., Douglas Bright, Sr., and Louis Bright (Maryann); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
