Elizabeth A. Rueff, 96, of Crescent Hill passed away on April 8, 2011. She was born on August 4, 1914 in Louisville to the late John Bernard and Matilda Haas Sullivan. She was a member of Grace Immanuel United Church of Christ and was retired from American Printing House for the Blind.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Rueff; a son, Kenneth Rueff; two grandchildren, Rex Hassan and Kristen Hassan; six brothers and sisters; a son-in-law, Kenneth Hassan; and two daughter-in-laws, Marsha Rueff and Kay Rueff.
She is survived by her loving children, Beverly Hassan, Peggy Dunn (Ron), Marilyn Clark (George), Charlene Becker (Larry) and Kevin Rueff (Cathy); 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 10 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 on Monday April 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
