Elizabeth N. Tingle

Tingle, Elizabeth N., 80, passed away February 1, 2019. “Liz” or “Granny”, as she was known to many, was a breast cancer survivor of 40 years. Her passion in life was caring for babies. She always put others first and had the best laugh.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Howard C. Tingle; parents, Franklin and Nell Bright; and sister, Carolyn Powell.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony Howard Tingle (Merrilee), Susan Diane Tingle, Jamie Taylor Tingle, and Joseph Raymond Tingle; grandchildren, Jason Tingle, David Tingle, Claire Coppage, Adam Tingle, Daniel Tingle, Melanie McBroom, and Elizabeth Tingle; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jonathan Christopher Bright.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
