Eloise Miles, 80, of Louisville, passed away at Norton Hospital after a long illness. She was the former Eloise Skaggs and a native of North Okaw, IL. Eloise had attended the old Western High School from the West End of Louisville and retired from World Com in sales and marketing. She was an excellant cook, who dearly loved to entertain family and friends. She loved spending time with the "lights" of her life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left cherishing her memory are her daughters, Rhonda (Stephen) Vessels, Lisa (Douglas) Mercurio and Deena (Ed)Scharfenberger; step-son, Stephen (Cindy) Miles; brother, Denver (Joann) Skaggs; nine grandchildren, Andrea (Ben), Brandon, Brooke (Chris), Ben, Dustin (Lindsey), Allie (Michael), Paige, Nicholas, Aaron and two great-grandsons, Liam and Jack.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitaiton will be on Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
