Emma J. Stafford, 78, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1946, to the late Clyde and Jane White. Emma was a member of Wellman Wesleyan Church. She loved to watch westerns and cook for her family during the holidays.
In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her sisters; Tressie Masden, Verna Crenshaw, and Carol Ballard; and brother, Ray Nelson.
Left to cherish Emma’s memory is her loving husband of 52 years, James B. Stafford; son, James M. Stafford; and many loving grand-cats.
A visitation for Emma will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, with a funeral to follow immediately after at 3:00 p.m.
